Setting up Duo 2FA for 谷歌应用程序 和 工作日

 

How do I enable Duo 2FA on my account?

  • 教师, staff 和 students are enrolled in Duo 2FA when your account is created.

How do I set up Duo 2FA on my account?

After Duo 2FA is enabled on your account, the next time you login to a Wellesley Duo SSO protected website, you will be prompted to enroll.  The enrollment process guides you through the steps, but you can also follow the information below.

  1. If you have an Android or Apple phone, we strongly recommend downloading the free 两人移动 app to make logging in quicker 和 easier, 和 it also allows you to login if your phone doesn't have a cell data service or an internet connection.

  2. If you don't have a mobile phone, you can request a 双USB令牌 来自帮助台.
     

  3. Make sure you are near the phone you want to setup before continuing.
     

  4. 访问 a Duo SSO protected website (MyWellesley门户, 谷歌应用程序, or 工作日) from a web browser on a computer.
     

  5. Login with your Wellesley email address 和 password.
     

  6. After logging in, you will see a Welcome to Duo Security 屏幕.  点击 下一个.

    • If you don't see this 屏幕, your login session may be cached. Try using a different browser or a private or incognito browser session.

    • If you still don't see this 屏幕, contact the 帮助 Desk for assistance.
       

  7. 你知道吗? 屏幕上,单击 下一个.
     

  8. At the What can you do? 屏幕上,单击 下一个.
     

  9. At the Select an option 屏幕, choose the device you want to set up.

    • Once you have set up one device, you can set up additional devices.

    • We encourage you to set up both the 两人移动 和 电话号码 选项.
       

  10. If you choose 两人移动 (Recommended)

    1. You'll be asked to enter a phone number, enter your mobile phone number for the device you have installed 两人移动 on 并点击 添加电话号码. If you're setting it up on a tablet, click the I have a tablet link to skip the phone number step.

    2. After entering your phone number, you'll see an Is this correct? 屏幕.  验证 the number is correct 并点击 是的，没错.

    3. At the Now download the Duo app 屏幕上,单击 下一个. If you haven't already, download the 两人移动 app from the links above now.

    4. At the Scan the QR code 屏幕, go to your mobile phone 和 launch the 两人移动 app.

    5. 在手机上, launch the 两人移动 app. It should prompt you to set it up, tap 继续，然后点击 使用QR码. If you don't see this, click the 添加+ button in the top right.

    6. 在手机上, 在两人移动应用程序中, allow camera access if asked, 和 point your phone camera to your computer 屏幕 so you can scan the QR Code. It will then link your Wellesley account to the 两人移动 app.

    7. 在手机上, you will be asked to name the account.  Keep it named Wellesley College 和 tap 完成 or 保存.

    8. On your computer 屏幕上,单击 继续.

    9. In the Add another way to login in? 屏幕, you can either click 电话号码 to set up a different phone number from the one you entered for 两人移动, or click 现在跳过.

       

  11. If you chose Phone Number:

    1. Enter your phone number with area code (和 country code if it isn't US), check the This is a l和line checkbox, 并点击 添加电话号码.

    2. In the Enter an extension 屏幕上,单击 跳过这一步.

    3. In the Is this Correct? 屏幕, make sure the phone number is correct, then click 是的，没错.

    4. In the Confirm ownership 屏幕上,单击 打电话给我, 和 Duo will call your phone.

    5. Answer your phone, 和 it will give you a verification code to enter on the Passcode sent 屏幕.  Enter the code 并点击 验证.

    6. At the Added phone call 屏幕上,单击 继续.

    7. 点击 使用Duo登录.
       

  12. If you chose Security Key (双USB令牌):

    1. ​At the Security Key 屏幕, it explains you'll be prompted to use your key. 点击 继续.

    2. A Security key setup popup will ask you to insert 和 tap on your Security Key to setup.  点击 Ok.

    3. In the 继续 Setup popup, insert the 双USB令牌 into a USB slot on your computer so that the key on the token lights up.  You may need to turn it upside down if it doesn't light up. 

    4. After inserting the 双USB令牌, tap on the key icon on it to activate it, so the setup can complete.

    5. Once the setup is complete, you will see an Added security key 屏幕. 点击 继续.

    6. 点击 使用Duo登录.
       

  13. Duo 2FA will now use the most secure method of your devices to authenticate you (Duo token first, 二人移动第二, 第三个的密码, 和 phone calls as the least secure).
